SIDE BY SIDE BUGGY, BEACH & CENOTE SWIM

This will be a fantastic day in Paradise! Ride in your own 4-passenger Club Car (golf cart) through the beautiful landscape of Puntacana Resort & Club, the most exclusive resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

This is a fun tour where you can explore some interesting aspects of Punta Cana! Our first stop will at the beautiful La Choza Beach where you can enjoy the beach and go for a swim in the ocean. We'll spend about 30 minutes at the beach before continuing on our tour.

Next stop will be to visit the friendly Rhino iguanas! The rhinoceros iguana is a threatened species of lizard in the family Iguanidae that is primarily found on the Caribbean island of Hispaniola, i.e. the Dominican Republic and Haiti. They vary in length from 60 to 136 centimeters (24 to 54 inches) and skin colours range from a steely grey to a dark green and even brown. Their name derives from the bony-plated pseudo-horn or outgrowth which resembles the horn of a rhinoceros on the iguana's snout.

After we say goodbye to the iguanas, it's time to visit the bee hives where you can learn everything about the resort's production of forest honey and the world of bees. The Puntacana Resort Foundation works with a local beekeeper to produce approximately 2,000 gallons of honey a year, in addition to royal jelly, bee pollen, and wax for candles from approximately 500 bee colonies distributed throughout the Puntacana Resort & Club.

We return to our ranch and leave the golf carts behind to take a short walk through the forest. Here, you will discover the Indigenous Eyes of Punta Cana - a collection of unique and hidden fresh water cenotes* that are part of an ancient Eco-system, tucked away inside a small forest and reserved only for very few people. Jump in and take a dip in the cool, pristine water and emerge refreshed and rejuvenated.

*A cenote is a natural pit, or sinkhole, resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater underneath.
