The water bike is super easy and fun to ride! All you have to do is pedal and steer the handlebars in the desired direction – no special skills or qualifications are necessary to ride the water bike. Our water bikes eliminate the balance aspect of a traditional bicycle, meaning anyone can ride them.

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

Choose between the water bike tour with snorkeling or upgrade to the land & sea tour with – a combination of 4×4 buggy adventure and water bikes!

Water bike tour with snorkeling (approx. 3-4 hours): Enjoy a guided ride along the stunning coastline. Our expert guides will show you how to use the water bike safely – it’s super easy and the water bike is safe, stable, and durable. Water bikes are recognized as being more stable and durable than kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards, and due to their size and design, they are practically impossible to capsize and are unsinkable! The water bike is designed for both thrill-seekers and those who want a more relaxing experience as you glide over the turquoise waters. You’ll also have the chance to snorkel and dive into the deep blue sea to discover the coral reefs and marine life of the Cabeza de Toro area.

Optional – enhance your experience by including lunch at Pearl Beach Club after the tour (choice of cheese hamburger or margarita pizza with one water/soft drink – subject to availability and subject to change without notice).

Land & Sea – 4×4 buggies & water bike tour with snorkeling (approx. 5 hours): Go for the ultimate land & sea adventure – the perfect tour for the adrenaline seekers! We start with a thrilling buggy ride to explore the most exciting trails of the Punta Cana Ecological Reserve, a protected area that is home to unique species of flora and fauna. During this adventure, you will not only enjoy the adrenaline of driving an ATV, but you will also learn about the fascinating pre-Columbian Taíno history and its connection to this magical place. Visit a natural cenote and immerse yourself, making this journey an unforgettable experience. For the 2nd part of the tour, it’s time to hop on the water bike and glide across crystal-clear waters. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to observe stingrays in their natural habitat, swim in a spectacular natural pool, and even practice snorkeling to discover a fascinating underwater world full of life. This is a tour that combines the best of both worlds—above and below the water.

• This is not a private excursion.
• Your excursion voucher will specify the name of the excursion as “Water Bikes Playa Blanca or Terra Aqua Expedition”.
• Transportation is only included from hotels/resorts/Palmera Villas in Punta Cana. You may need to pass by other hotels to pick up other people before the excursion begins and to drop them off after the excursion ends. Transportation may not be available from certain hotels/resorts/private villas and/or an additional fee may apply.
• This excursion may not suitable or available for pregnant women or people who suffer from back pain, mobility problems, or other medical conditions. If you suffer from any medical conditions or mobility problems, please consult with Group Palmera before making your reservation.
• Participants must be comfortable in the water/ocean and the ability to swim and enter/exit the water without assistance is a plus.
• The maximum weight supported by the water bike is 250 lbs/113 kilograms.
• Life jackets are mandatory for all participants and included in the excursion.
• You may bike barefoot or wearing water shoes.
• The excursion company reserves the right to refuse admittance or participation in activities to persons who are intoxicated and/or under the influence of alcohol.
