The Hotel:

Westin Puntacana Resort & Club is a small, beachfront hotel with just 200 rooms spread across 4 floors. Room categories include Traditional Room (1 king or 2 queen beds), Premium Room (1 king bed), Junior Suite (1 king bed), Suite (1 king bed), and the Puntacana Suite (king bed).

Hotel guests can enjoy all of Westin’s signature amenities, restaurants, an expansive outdoor pool, beachside grill, lobby bar, cigar bar, children’s club, walking trails, and access to white sand beaches. Additional hotel amenities include a 24-hour business center and the brand’s signature Westin WORKOUT gym experience.

The hotel underwent a renovation in 2022, and new restaurants were added.

The Golf Courses:

Puntacana Resort & Club is home to 2 of the best ocean-side golf courses in the Dominican Republic.

Designed by Tom Fazio, Corales is an exclusive and dramatic 18-hole course with six Caribbean Oceanside holes. Designed along the natural cliffs, bays, ocean coves, and the inland lakes and coralina quarries, Corales Golf Course rates among the World’s finest Golf Experiences. The exhilarating challenge culminates in playing the Devil’s Elbow, Corales’s last three holes. The Devil’s Elbow features the striking eighteenth hole with a dramatic forced carry over the cliff-lined Bay of Corales, an inspired capstone to a memorable and breathtaking golf experience. Since 2019, Corales has hosted the annual PGA Tour event: The Corales Puntacana Championship.

La Cana Golf Club is a 27-hole golf course with three nines: Tortuga, Hacienda, and Arrecife. This golf course features 14 holes with ocean views of the Caribbean Sea. Designed by P.B. Dye, this course has become a favorite of golfers from all over the world, and keeping in line with Puntacana Resort & Club’s efforts to be as environmentally friendly as possible, La Cana Golf Club was the first course in the Caribbean to use paspalum grass, which can be watered using seawater. Golf Magazine has compared La Cana to Pebble Beach and declared it the “number one course in the Caribbean.”

• The beverage credit is per person, per day. The credit may not be transferred to another person or applied to future stays. Unused credit amounts do not roll over to the next day and are non-refundable.
